# Promessas vs Devocion Matutina

The clearest difference is rating: Devocion Matutina at 4.5 against Promessas's 3.1. Devocion Matutina also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (506 vs 12). Promessas's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Devocion Matutina sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Promessas asks for nothing beyond the download.

Devocion Matutina holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Devocion Matutina has 506 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Promessas's written reviews are positive against 49% of Devocion Matutina's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Promessas ships an update every 7 months, Devocion Matutina every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
