# Amazon WorkDocs vs GITask

The clearest difference is rating: GITask at 5.0 against Amazon WorkDocs's 3.5. GITask also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). Amazon WorkDocs's advantage is ratings volume (56 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GITask holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amazon WorkDocs has 56 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Amazon WorkDocs ships an update every 3 months, GITask every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
