# Block Puzzle! vs Block Puzzle

The clearest difference is rating: Block Puzzle at 4.9 against Block Puzzle!'s 4.3. Block Puzzle also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 weeks). Block Puzzle!'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Puzzle! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Block Puzzle asks for nothing beyond the download.

Block Puzzle holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Block Puzzle has 4.4K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Block Puzzle!'s written reviews are positive against 78% of Block Puzzle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Block Puzzle! ships an update every 5 weeks, Block Puzzle every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
