# TV Remote ‣ vs FireApp

TV Remote ‣ and FireApp both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of TV Remote ‣'s written reviews are positive against 49% of FireApp's. TV Remote ‣ also leads on ratings volume (8.9K vs 417) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV Remote ‣ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FireApp sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TV Remote ‣ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV Remote ‣ has 8.9K ratings behind it against 417, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of TV Remote ‣'s written reviews are positive against 49% of FireApp's.

TV Remote ‣ ships an update monthly, FireApp every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
