# Flock vs Pebb

The clearest difference is rating: Pebb at 4.4 against Flock's 3.8. Flock's advantage is ratings volume (101 vs 10) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pebb holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flock has 101 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 46% of Flock's written reviews are positive against 50% of Pebb's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
