# FMC vs Syrus App

The clearest difference is rating: FMC at 4.9 against Syrus App's 3.5. FMC also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (92 vs 8). Syrus App's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FMC holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FMC has 92 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of FMC's written reviews are positive against 67% of Syrus App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FMC ships an update every 5 weeks, Syrus App every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
