# Google Slides vs CollaNote

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Google Slides at none against CollaNote's 4. Google Slides also leads on ratings volume (416K vs 14K) and chart position (#19 vs unranked). CollaNote's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 57%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CollaNote sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Google Slides asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Google Slides against 4.7 for CollaNote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Slides has 416K ratings behind it against 14K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of Google Slides's written reviews are positive against 71% of CollaNote's.

Google Slides ships an update weekly, CollaNote every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
