# Google Slides vs Noteful

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Google Slides at none against Noteful's 1. Google Slides also leads on ratings volume (415K vs 24K) and chart position (#22 vs unranked). Noteful's advantage is review sentiment (87% vs 57%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noteful sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Google Slides asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Google Slides against 4.8 for Noteful. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Slides has 415K ratings behind it against 24K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of Google Slides's written reviews are positive against 87% of Noteful's.

Google Slides ships an update weekly, Noteful fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
