# Sundance Now vs Remembering

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Remembering at none against Sundance Now's 2. Remembering also leads on review sentiment (48% vs 15%). Sundance Now's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.1 vs 3.6). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sundance Now sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Remembering asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sundance Now holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sundance Now has 3.6K ratings behind it against 108, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Sundance Now's written reviews are positive against 48% of Remembering's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sundance Now ships an update monthly, Remembering every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
