# MBC Shahid vs ShemarooMe

The clearest difference is rating: MBC Shahid at 3.0 against ShemarooMe's 2.4. MBC Shahid also leads on ratings volume (23K vs 114) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). ShemarooMe's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 16%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MBC Shahid sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and ShemarooMe sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MBC Shahid holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MBC Shahid has 23K ratings behind it against 114, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of MBC Shahid's written reviews are positive against 43% of ShemarooMe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MBC Shahid ships an update fortnightly, ShemarooMe every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
