# MBC Shahid vs الموسوعة العربية

The clearest difference is rating: الموسوعة العربية at 4.1 against MBC Shahid's 3.0. الموسوعة العربية also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). MBC Shahid's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 95) and review sentiment (16% vs 0%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MBC Shahid sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. الموسوعة العربية asks for nothing beyond the download.

الموسوعة العربية holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MBC Shahid has 23K ratings behind it against 95, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of MBC Shahid's written reviews are positive against 0% of الموسوعة العربية's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
