# MBC Shahid vs 1001.tv

The clearest difference is ads: MBC Shahid at none against 1001.tv's shown. MBC Shahid also leads on rating (3.0 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (23K vs 654). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MBC Shahid sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and 1001.tv sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MBC Shahid holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MBC Shahid has 23K ratings behind it against 654, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 16% and 15% positive.

MBC Shahid ships an update fortnightly, 1001.tv every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
