# 网易云课堂 vs VideoNotes

网易云课堂 and VideoNotes both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of VideoNotes's written reviews are positive against 66% of 网易云课堂's. 网易云课堂's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 13) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 网易云课堂 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and VideoNotes sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for 网易云课堂 against 4.8 for VideoNotes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 网易云课堂 has 1K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two.
