# Fluid Backgammon vs Backgammon

The clearest difference is rating: Backgammon at 4.6 against Fluid Backgammon's 3.8. Backgammon also leads on ratings volume (735 vs 18). Fluid Backgammon's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 21%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Backgammon holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Backgammon has 735 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Fluid Backgammon's written reviews are positive against 21% of Backgammon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
