# DESlock+ Mobile vs Google Ads

The clearest difference is rating: DESlock+ Mobile at 5.0 against Google Ads's 4.4. DESlock+ Mobile also leads on iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 16.0). Google Ads's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (5.1K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DESlock+ Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Ads has 5.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of DESlock+ Mobile's written reviews are positive against 22% of Google Ads's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DESlock+ Mobile ships an update every 7 months, Google Ads fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
