# Winmail Reader Lite vs Winmail Viewer

The clearest difference is rating: Winmail Reader Lite at 4.2 against Winmail Viewer's 2.0. Winmail Reader Lite also leads on ratings volume (82 vs 1). Winmail Viewer's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (26% vs 5%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Winmail Reader Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Winmail Viewer sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Winmail Reader Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Winmail Reader Lite has 82 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of Winmail Reader Lite's written reviews are positive against 26% of Winmail Viewer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
