# Echo Prayer vs Prayer Journal

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Echo Prayer at 22K against Prayer Journal's 346. Echo Prayer also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Prayer Journal's advantage is review sentiment (96% vs 80%) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Echo Prayer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Prayer Journal sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Echo Prayer against 4.9 for Prayer Journal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Echo Prayer has 22K ratings behind it against 346, so its average is the more settled of the two.
