# Dice vs DicePlay

The clearest difference is ads: Dice at none against DicePlay's shown. Dice also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DicePlay sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dice ships an update every 6 weeks, DicePlay every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
