# Permaculture Magazine vs TerraGreen

The clearest difference is update cadence: Permaculture Magazine at every 5 months against TerraGreen's every 12 months. TerraGreen's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Permaculture Magazine sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 3 months and TerraGreen sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
