# Swimtopia vs SwimNOVA Lessons

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SwimNOVA Lessons at none against Swimtopia's 2. SwimNOVA Lessons also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Swimtopia's advantage is ratings volume (6K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swimtopia sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. SwimNOVA Lessons asks for nothing beyond the download.
