# Swimtopia vs MySwimApp

The clearest difference is update cadence: MySwimApp at daily against Swimtopia's every 2 months. MySwimApp also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Swimtopia's advantage is ratings volume (6K vs 11) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swimtopia sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and MySwimApp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swimtopia holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swimtopia has 6K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Swimtopia's written reviews are positive against 60% of MySwimApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Swimtopia ships an update every 2 months, MySwimApp daily. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
