# KeyMood vs Panda Saver

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Panda Saver at none against KeyMood's 4. Panda Saver also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). KeyMood's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 65%) and ratings volume (5.9K vs 1.3K). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KeyMood sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Panda Saver asks for nothing beyond the download.

Panda Saver holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5.9K and 1.3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of KeyMood's written reviews are positive against 65% of Panda Saver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KeyMood ships an update every 2 months, Panda Saver fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
