# O'Reilly vs Converge360 Events

The clearest difference is rating: O'Reilly at 4.7 against Converge360 Events's 4.0. O'Reilly also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (34K vs 3). Converge360 Events's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

O'Reilly holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: O'Reilly has 34K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of O'Reilly's written reviews are positive against 50% of Converge360 Events's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

O'Reilly ships an update fortnightly, Converge360 Events every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
