# 81 Rush vs SudokuTournament.com

The clearest difference is monetization model: 81 Rush at free against SudokuTournament.com's free with in-app purchases. SudokuTournament.com's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 81 Rush sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and SudokuTournament.com sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SudokuTournament.com holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 31 and 25 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of 81 Rush's written reviews are positive against 62% of SudokuTournament.com's.

81 Rush ships an update fortnightly, SudokuTournament.com every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
