# KickUp Cup vs VIP Guard

The clearest difference is review sentiment: KickUp Cup at 100% against VIP Guard's 51%. KickUp Cup also leads on ads (none vs shown). VIP Guard's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KickUp Cup sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and VIP Guard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VIP Guard holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VIP Guard has 113K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of KickUp Cup's written reviews are positive against 51% of VIP Guard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KickUp Cup ships an update every 7 months, VIP Guard monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
