# Bugs Math Games vs Letter Board

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bugs Math Games at 67% against Letter Board's 0%. Bugs Math Games also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). Letter Board's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 22 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bugs Math Games sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Letter Board sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Letter Board holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Bugs Math Games's written reviews are positive against 0% of Letter Board's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bugs Math Games ships an update every 22 months, Letter Board every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
