# Plotagon Story vs LiveDoodle

The clearest difference is rating: LiveDoodle at 5.0 against Plotagon Story's 3.6. LiveDoodle also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). Plotagon Story's advantage is ratings volume (3.9K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Plotagon Story sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. LiveDoodle asks for nothing beyond the download.

LiveDoodle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plotagon Story has 3.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Plotagon Story's written reviews are positive against 50% of LiveDoodle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Plotagon Story ships an update every 5 weeks, LiveDoodle every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
