# Plotagon Story vs To Be Continued Maker

The clearest difference is ads: To Be Continued Maker at none against Plotagon Story's shown. To Be Continued Maker also leads on rating (3.9 vs 3.5). Plotagon Story's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Plotagon Story sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and To Be Continued Maker sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

To Be Continued Maker holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3.9K and 1.8K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Plotagon Story's written reviews are positive against 47% of To Be Continued Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Plotagon Story ships an update every 5 weeks, To Be Continued Maker every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
