# Dot Sequence vs Dual Tasking

The clearest difference is ads: Dot Sequence at none against Dual Tasking's shown. Dual Tasking's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 53 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dot Sequence ships an update every 53 months, Dual Tasking every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
