# 여기어때 vs 카찹

The clearest difference is ads: 여기어때 at none against 카찹's shown. 여기어때 also leads on ratings volume (625 vs 12). 카찹's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for 여기어때 against 4.7 for 카찹. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 여기어때 has 625 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.

여기어때 ships an update fortnightly, 카찹 every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
