# Recorder Plus vs Visla

The clearest difference is rating: Recorder Plus at 4.4 against Visla's 3.5. Recorder Plus also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 23). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Recorder Plus sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Visla sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $18.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Recorder Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Recorder Plus has 12K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Recorder Plus's written reviews are positive against 43% of Visla's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Recorder Plus ships an update every 3 weeks, Visla fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
