# Horoscope Widget vs Favorite Contacts Widget Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Favorite Contacts Widget Pro at 5.0 against Horoscope Widget's 3.5. Horoscope Widget's advantage is review sentiment (20% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 21 months). On ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Horoscope Widget costs $0.99 and Favorite Contacts Widget Pro $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Favorite Contacts Widget Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Horoscope Widget has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Horoscope Widget's written reviews are positive against 0% of Favorite Contacts Widget Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Horoscope Widget ships an update every 5 months, Favorite Contacts Widget Pro every 21 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
