# My Widgets vs Share Widget

The clearest difference is rating: Share Widget at 4.6 against My Widgets's 3.9. Share Widget also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). My Widgets's advantage is review sentiment (54% vs 25%) and ratings volume (413 vs 92). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Widgets sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Share Widget sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Share Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 413 and 92 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of My Widgets's written reviews are positive against 25% of Share Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Widgets ships an update every 5 weeks, Share Widget every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
