# MyEarTraining vs Estill Exercises

MyEarTraining and Estill Exercises both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of MyEarTraining's written reviews are positive against 38% of Estill Exercises's. MyEarTraining also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (253 vs 2). Estill Exercises's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyEarTraining sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Estill Exercises sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Estill Exercises holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyEarTraining has 253 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of MyEarTraining's written reviews are positive against 38% of Estill Exercises's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
