# MyEarTraining vs 2PD

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 2PD at none against MyEarTraining's 1. 2PD also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). MyEarTraining's advantage is ratings volume (252 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyEarTraining sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 2PD asks for nothing beyond the download.

2PD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyEarTraining has 252 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
