# Express Taxis vs The KOS

The clearest difference is update cadence: Express Taxis at every 5 months against The KOS's every 30 months. The KOS's advantage is iOS requirement (12 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Express Taxis ships an update every 5 months, The KOS every 30 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
