# Affiliated vs G4

Affiliated and G4 both sit at 2.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 33% of Affiliated's written reviews are positive against 18% of G4's. Affiliated also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). G4's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

G4 holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 47 and 22 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Affiliated's written reviews are positive against 18% of G4's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Affiliated ships an update every 2 months, G4 every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
