# Vroom vs AP

The clearest difference is rating: AP at 5.0 against Vroom's 3.9. AP also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Vroom's advantage is ratings volume (90 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vroom has 90 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of Vroom's written reviews are positive against 100% of AP's.

Vroom ships an update every 5 weeks, AP every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
