# Lutron App vs BGTC

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Lutron App at 6.8K against BGTC's 2. Lutron App also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 6 weeks). BGTC's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
