# Lutron App vs Aiper

The clearest difference is rating: Lutron App at 4.8 against Aiper's 4.1. Lutron App also leads on ratings volume (6.8K vs 267) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). Aiper's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lutron App holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lutron App has 6.8K ratings behind it against 267, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Lutron App's written reviews are positive against 47% of Aiper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lutron App ships an update every 8 days, Aiper every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
