# EZVIZ vs APCam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EZVIZ at 70% against APCam's 23%. EZVIZ also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (30K vs 11). APCam's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EZVIZ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EZVIZ has 30K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of EZVIZ's written reviews are positive against 23% of APCam's.

EZVIZ ships an update fortnightly, APCam every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
