# Capera (HD camera) vs Snaptouch Camera

Capera (HD camera) and Snaptouch Camera both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 51% of Capera (HD camera)'s written reviews are positive against 34% of Snaptouch Camera's. Snaptouch Camera's advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 344) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Snaptouch Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snaptouch Camera has 3.7K ratings behind it against 344, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Capera (HD camera)'s written reviews are positive against 34% of Snaptouch Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Capera (HD camera) ships an update every 2 months, Snaptouch Camera every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
