# Pink Direction vs Compass X

The clearest difference is update cadence: Compass X at fortnightly against Pink Direction's every 4 months. Pink Direction's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pink Direction sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Compass X sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pink Direction ships an update every 4 months, Compass X fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
