# Battery Testing vs Dr. Prius / Dr. Hybrid

The clearest difference is rating: Battery Testing at 4.5 against Dr. Prius / Dr. Hybrid's 3.6. Battery Testing also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 15). Dr. Prius / Dr. Hybrid's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (40% vs 23%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Battery Testing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dr. Prius / Dr. Hybrid sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Battery Testing holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Battery Testing has 12K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Battery Testing's written reviews are positive against 40% of Dr. Prius / Dr. Hybrid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
