# Twisted Worlds vs Smart Pirate

The clearest difference is rating: Twisted Worlds at 4.4 against Smart Pirate's 3.0. Twisted Worlds also leads on ratings volume (206 vs 1). Smart Pirate's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 87%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Twisted Worlds sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Smart Pirate sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Twisted Worlds holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twisted Worlds has 206 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Twisted Worlds's written reviews are positive against 100% of Smart Pirate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
