# BesameCR vs Universal+

The clearest difference is rating: Universal+ at 4.3 against BesameCR's 1.0. Universal+ also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 40 months) and ratings volume (142 vs 1). BesameCR's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Universal+ holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Universal+ has 142 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BesameCR ships an update every 40 months, Universal+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
