# Sun Tan City vs Learner's Permit Log Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Sun Tan City at 4.5 against Learner's Permit Log Tracker's 2.7. Sun Tan City also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 16). Learner's Permit Log Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 22%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sun Tan City holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sun Tan City has 12K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Sun Tan City's written reviews are positive against 50% of Learner's Permit Log Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
