# Falls Creek vs NBL

The clearest difference is rating: NBL at 4.8 against Falls Creek's 3.7. NBL also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (10 vs 3). Falls Creek's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 31%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NBL holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Falls Creek's written reviews are positive against 31% of NBL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
