# Pic Navi vs Exif Metadata

Pic Navi and Exif Metadata both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Pic Navi's written reviews are positive against 42% of Exif Metadata's. Exif Metadata's advantage is ratings volume (6.1K vs 27) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pic Navi sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Exif Metadata sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Pic Navi against 4.6 for Exif Metadata. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exif Metadata has 6.1K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Pic Navi's written reviews are positive against 42% of Exif Metadata's.

Pic Navi ships an update every 2 months, Exif Metadata fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
