# SHU Safe vs Laundry Connect Pay

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SHU Safe at 100% against Laundry Connect Pay's 73%. SHU Safe also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Laundry Connect Pay's advantage is ratings volume (6.3K vs 6) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Laundry Connect Pay holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Laundry Connect Pay has 6.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SHU Safe's written reviews are positive against 73% of Laundry Connect Pay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SHU Safe ships an update every 5 months, Laundry Connect Pay every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
